The Sandlot has given North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League a new time for open hitting. Starting Saturday our league will have a time slot on Saturdays from 12:30-2:30 pm.

North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League’s Sunday time slot at the Sandlot has changed. Our league now has time there every Sunday from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The cost is still $5/hour. The Sandlot is located in the North American Warhorse building in Dunmore.

Holiday Pitching Camp – The 11th Annual Paul McGloin
Holiday Pitching Camp will be held at Riverfront Sports (Scranton, PA) on
December 26, 27 & 28,

from 9:30am-12:00pm. Cost is $150 per camper or $135 if
postmarked by November 26, 2012.

Penn State (Main Campus) Baseball Clinic – The division
one coaching staff from Penn State University will hold a baseball clinic at
Electric City Baseball & Softball Academy for players of all ages on
Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 2-6pm and Sunday, January, 13, 2013 from
10am-2pm. Cost is

$160 and limited to 40 campers.

Winter Hitting League – Electric City Baseball &
Softball Academy will hold its Annual MLB Scouts Winter Hitting League for boys
and girls of all ages with the following instructors: Bobby Felmy (Giants),
Matt Hyde (Yankees), Greg Legg (Phillies), Wayne Lydon (Blue Jays), Sean Moran

(Cardinals) and Eric Valent (Phillies). Session one:
Sundays January 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2013 from 3pm-4:30pm or 4:45pm-6:15pm
depending on age.

Session two: Sundays, February 3, 10, 17 & 24, 2013
from 3pm-4:30pm or 4:45pm-6:15pm depending on age.

Registration for the 2013 season will be held on each Saturday in January 2013. That is Saturday January 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 9am to 2 pm at MEC, the North Pocono Intermediate and the North Pocono Middle School. We will also have online registration again this year. Our fall cleanup day has been set for Saturday November 3, 2012 at 9 am at both Aston and Dandy Lion fields. Please give a few hours of your time so we can get our facilities ready for the winter months and so they will be ready for play in the spring. Thanks for your help!

NPDLL Board of Directors 2013

Board meetings for North Pocono Dandy Lion Little League have been changed from the third Wednesday of the month to the first Wednesday of the month.

The next board meeting and the first one for the 2012-2013 board will be held Wednesday October 3, 2012 at 7 pm in the community room of the Penn Security Bank in Moscow.

Both 11-12 fall ball games scheduled for tonight Wed. Sept 5, 2012 have been cancelled due to wet field conditions. NP 1 @ East Scranton and West Scranton @ NP 2.
